Properties:

Leucine is a cold-water-soluble white powder with generally, good process stability. L-Leucine is a branched chain amino acid (BCAA) recognised as being particularly important in building and repairing muscle.

Applications:

Leucine can be used to supplement the diet of athletes/weight trainers, who believe they are not obtaining sufficient leucine in their diet to optimise muscle maintenance and growth. It's used on its own as a powder supplement, in flavoured instant powder drinks and RTD sports-related drinks.
Often used in combination with other BCAA’s (valine and iso-leucine), mixed amino acid/vitamin preparations.
